It does not sound like the ideal situation to have pups born under. She will probably not be an ideal example of her breed, but it doesn’t mean she will have lots of issues. I think if you feed her a premium diet, you will give her the best chance possible.

I wouldn’t say she will have problems but think she’s more prone to having them. Consider the breed momma was and understand the tendencies that breed has for illness would be a great step for preparation. If she was a mutt…??

First and foremost, your vet will be able to help. He/she will have a great understanding of what possible problems wil be.

These are questions you should ask your vet !! depending on the reason the puppies died your should be fine if they died of sickness distemper/Parvo or anything like that you should be worried !! but either way I would ask you vet about it

Yes, you also got her way too young, right? Like before she was nine weeks old. The b*tch was too old to be producing puppies and then on top of that she was ill and the litter wasn’t cared for well, simply because the mother wasn’t. Allowing her to get pregnant simply exacerbated the cancer she has and so I would make the leap to likely figure that she was breed by an ignorant back yard greeder as no responsible, knowledgeable breeder would have done any of that… so the likelihood that both parents were also fully health tested is slim to none and the likelihood that your puppy will have you spending a whole lot of money to properly take care of is astronomical…

That would depend on how the puppies died.

Not necessarily. If the other puppies didn’t die of anything contagious, and your puppy is currently healthy, then she should have as good a chance at a healthy life as any other young pup. Feed her good quality food and make sure her shots are kept up to date. Have her spayed at around 6 months old and speak to your vet about any concerns. Good Luck!
