I think there is a difference. Health at any given time is more important than education.

So you are saying that doctors should make the same pittance that teachers make because poor doctors will improve our healthcare tremendously?
I’m guessing that you are also saying that our doctor’s offices should be overcrowded and we should shut down certain programs that doctor’s offer (aquatic therapy maybe? pain management?) like we are shutting down school programs.

Most of education is paid for through student loans, and the government only ends up paying around 6-8% for education loans. Based, on government guarantees on defaulted loans.

Helping someone get an education helps them earn more money, and be happier. That in turn allows us to improve our economy. The education system is more of a loan program.

The health care proposal is a welfare type system, it has no financial gain, or economic benefit other than the health of americans. But, we should be responsible for our own health. We should also not depend on the government except to help us improve, examples government back loans, student loans, and mortgages, that will be repaid.

Plus, our health care system is not that bad compared to other countries. Yes, there are wait times, and so what? There are always wait times in any country. This will only make wait times worse.

Not too mention the ones pushing this bill believe in Socialistic Views, do you really want the government to have this much power over our lives. If all this happens, within 10 years we will not have any option for improving our lives, if you are born poor you will stay poor, there will be no options for improving your situation.

A republic depends on having a literate electorate capable of comprehending difficult and complex issues for survival. Unfortunately, the government has already proven itself incapable of maintaining that and people now want us to put our future health in the government’s hands.

Education is a necessity for a better future. We don’t want a nation of uneducated people. Once the youth are educated they should be able to get jobs and take care of there own medical expenses.

No money in education besides the test companies.
