For all you first time voters, be aware, if you vote a straight ticket, you have to vote separately for the president. A number of people are not doing this, so they are not voting for either presidential candidate. This is known as under voting.

Pulitzer winning journalist Sydney Schanberg has written an investigative article in The Nation magazine on how John McCain worked very hard to bury information about POWs left behind in Vietnam.

And that year, I did not vote for Kerry. I voted independent. I’m not being one sided. McCain is slinging mud at Obama, accusing him of siding with terroirsts, instilling fear in the American people, dividing us. I think it is important to be aware of who he really is. I know that Obama is not a saint, but I feel he has a better idea of what the American people need right now.
