Yep, I got the social anxiety disorder!

When I was taking wellbutrin, everything in life was Golden, now that I don’t have medical insurance, I’ve become a recluse again. : (((

  5. samalexsmall Says:

SAD + cannabis = schizophrenia, which happened to my 19 year old brother.

I agree the news probably isnt the source of anxiety, in fact I never said that. I said that it would help to cut stress levels. The news contributes to stress unnaturally.

  7. radio909 Says:

Number one happens to be a major part of todays stress levels. Ask anyone in the street what worries them the most and I garantee 9 out of 10 will say ‘the economy or a few years ago maybe this ongoing War On Terror’.
In fact we have filled out heads full of news that we have no control over. So how can this not be taken into consideration?

    “1. Cut stress levels :
This can be done by not watching the news that fills our consciousness with events that mostly cannot be affected by our actions.”

Dude watching the news really wouldn’t be anxiety provoking for your stereotypical SAD patient. So how would cutting down help? Stressful news is not the source of the problem.

  9. yay1912 Says:

Dude I am really skeptical about one.

i got social anxiety, i made a blog, someone wants to check out my blog?:) thank you so much. and i wish everyone luck going through this :(. xoxox saskia:)

  12. radio909 Says:

    6. Be positive :
Some people I have helped with anxiety disorder tend to start conversations with a negative eg “Did you see that on the news about iraq”.
This is not good and will subliminally associate a bad feeling to you for anyone you direct a conversation to in this way.
You can subconsciously link a feeling of positivity by starting off conversations in a positive way, simple but extrememly effective.

After these steps I guarantee anyone with social anxiety will start feeling better

  13. radio909 Says:

    3. Exercise :
This can cut stress levels and will maintain a health mind as well as a healthy body. Also eating health helps.

    4. You are not alone :
Remember most people have had anxiety at some point and alot of people you meet will have it.

    5. Sleep well :
Bad sleeping patterns WILL affect anxiety. Make sure you are getting adequate sleep during the week and try to maintain a regular pattern.

Here’s how to beat social anxiety -
    1. Cut stress levels :
This can be done by not watching the news that fills our consciousness with events that mostly cannot be affected by our actions.

    2. Get amongst it :
You can make steps no matter how small but make an effort to talk with more and more people outside of your home in random situations. Ask someone for the time, smile and wink at a pretty girl you know you will never meet again etc this all adds up.

this nasty fear which lingers most of my day prevents u from enjoying life so much. Maybe cos i grew up with an alcoholic father i dont know. I used to have this while running in school i would just hold myself from constantly vomiting, which was always out of fear. Deep rooted fear or something is going to happen etc.

  16. bob1sohot Says:

I have this disorder i remember before my karate grading i started vomiting for no reason just out of pure fear

I think I might have Social Anxiety Disorder. I can’t even go out places anymore. I stay home. The only time I go out is when I have to go to school or if I have to go somewhere important, like the doctor’s office.

  21. Dankydooodle Says:

thankyou for this video, i realise this now, i have social anxiety, and i never knew this, i can’t eblieve something can be done

  22. dlmcintyre3 Says:

    what’s the intro. song?

  23. Malarkatron Says:

The one part I related to extremely well was the potential to continue education. I dropped out of high school when I was 16 because of the anxiety, but I was a fairly bright individual, it really makes me disconsolate, knowing how much potential I had. I want(ed) to go to college for Computer Science but I just can’t bring myself to go. It really is very serious.

When I had to do a presentation at collage they would tell us about 1 month before. I would worry about it for the entire time! Mine is so bad that if I was forced to do a presentation at work I would leave! I can’t make any proper friends, I never meet up with people unless I’m drinking and if I’m not drinking then I can never rekax. I tense up so much I feel like my back is going to break! I would do anything to get rid of this illness!
