1.)GOP had 1000+ lobbyists to kill the bill.
2.)Waited for C-Span to go off air.
3.)Kept a 15-minute vote open for hours.
4.)Harassed their own; left one in tears.
5.)Accepted lucrative lobby positions in the drug industry.
6.)Smirked that, if you don’t like it -don’t watch.

This is SO great! I mean…think about it…I mean…I’ll have free medical and dental…I mean, I’ll want have to worry about getting a job…I mean, I’ll be equal to all those Hedge Fund Traders…Big Oil will finally go under…Unions will rule…No more wealthy…everybody will finally be equal…OBAMA 08…THE ONE…THE Messiah…finally…our time has come…OBAMA 08…he’ll do it all…no more mean republicans…line up…it’s all free and it’s all ours…OBAMA 08.

Hail to the King! Electing the first colored president president is a triumph in any nation’s history and will do wonders to lessen the straints of racism that is - sadly - still prevalent in the US and elsewhere. He has everything going for him, and is simply the best choice to guarantee a bright future for the American people.

Mr.O what u mean by “spreading z wealth”?Demo r’nt against “wealth” or “wealth creation”!What’s measure of “wealth”?Seems Repub have diff view on “wealth” meaning $ as evidenced last 8yrs &thr trickledown; while Demo see it as ppl having basic needs met,living thr potential,family,$ too!Clinton created “wealth” many moved 2middle class &wealthy got wealthier 2but under Bush only wealthy!Men don’t measure drapes!,we measure “success”by…; “ownrship society” Bush=McC Palin on SNL-she actress now?

I can definitely see why they like him. It’s great to hear someone speak of putting the people first.
Unfortunately those good intentions aren’t accompanied by an understanding of government’s desire for power and what will happen when the state grows. As government expand, freedom contracts. It may be easy to look to gov for answers but they lie in freedom, not the beast of gov.
Hopefully the welfare/warfare model of 1984 fails to come full circle.

It makes me indescribably happy to watch this video… I’m so proud that America has nominated this man for President of the USA. About a year ago, I would have thought Obama’s nomination was impossible. I thought politics and the White House were too corrupt for man of such honesty and intelligence to compete.
Yet here we are, fifteen days away from the big election, and the Obama/Biden holds a clear, strong lead.
I used to watch the elections with mixed apathy and dread. Now I can’t wait.
