1. ADHD is no big deal and will not affect the rate that you pay.

2. The back problem does not affect your life insurance rates, the only question/concern from underwriting would be if there were a question of addiction to pain killers which doesn't sound like the case.

it doesnt matter if these show up in your system as they would be expected to be there based on review of your medical records for underwriting.

Yes, your health condition does affect your acceptance for life insurance.

Each life insurance company has their own set of underwriting guidelines. Each one will consider your health issues and determine:

1. If they will accept you,
2. How much coverage they will offer,
3. How much they will charge you for the coverage.

Your acceptance and rates will depend on the results of your physical exam and tests.

Always answer all questions truthfully on your life insurance application, as the company has a Contestability Period, usually two years, to contest any death claim due to misrepresentation on your application.

You may have another option, there is Life Insurance with No Medical Exam required that offers approval online within 15 minutes , usually, if you qualify. You answer some questions and they let you know almost instantly. This type of policy may cost more; however, you'll know right away if you are approved. To get a quote visit

I hope that helps! Best of luck to you.

Pain patients tend to develop other problems your doctor may have discussed with you because of the stress of constant struggle. The medications may also impact your liver function tests - your doctor's records will tell a better story than this isolated test. I'm really wondering what the underlying cause is for the degeneration...

ADHD will really only factor in if it is not well controlled or if you also suffer from depression or anxiety.

I would expect standard plus to standard as a best case scenario. Good luck.

The ADHD might lead to an uprate, but shouldn't affect the acceptance.

The disc degeneration at your age is HIGHLY unusual. I think that's going to raise some red flags, and they're going to want to know what the problem is, that's causing it.

some insurance companies don't accept it for certain health issues most being already diagnosed heart conditions. I have ADD, Endometrosis, and A thyroid issue and I was accepted for health insurance just a week ago. It really all depends on the company, if you read the little books and pamplets they give you it should say in there.
