What, if any, health issues do Bengal cats have as a breed?

Jewel asked:

Many purebred dogs and cats have particular problems that are common for that breed. Do Bengal cats have any common health issues? What are they, and what symptoms should I look out for?
The exotic breed of domestic cats, not the tigers, and not the football team.

they need good trainers, an exercise regiment to strengthen their bones and muscles. you are talking about the football team, right?

No real health issues as such, but if you let them outside then be prepared to have every small animal for 10 miles to turn up dead on your doorstep. They are that good at hunting.

I have a 4 yr old exotic cat and he is very healthy. The only reccommendation I can make is that they tend to become overweight b/c they are generally much larger than other breeds. My cat once weighed 32 lbs but now he is down to 22 lbs which the vet said is ok… just keep them active and watch how much food they eat.
