homeopatic drugs are so diluted, that in the end there’s more impurities in the solution than the starting compound !! Besides, if water can “memorize” what was dissolved in it, then each time you drink a glass of water you would absorb all the drugs for all the desease in the world !

Haha. I love how many people are quoting Tim Minchin’s “Storm” poem here, although my favourite *** would have to be from Dara O’Briain.

“The great thing about homeopathy is that you can’t overdose.”
    “Well, you could drown!”

An easy way to disprove homeopathy:
Eat a whole handful of those little pills. Or take a bunch of different kinds. When I once asked about this, a homeopathic told me it would certainly knock you out. If I could afford it, I’d make a public display of disproving this.

How about another fatal flaw: You’re probably ingesting very minute amounts of just about any substance any time you eat, drink, or breathe air.

@AGuyWhoPunkUMama pharmaceutical propaganda?? calm down mate, its just a couple of comedians making a good joke out of the stupidity of those people who think water can ‘remember’ whats been in it.

At the start of this Webb goes “Arnica 1 part in 1,000,000 … no … 1 part in 10,000,000″
    .
A fairly typical homoeopathic dosage is C30, which is actually 1 part in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 I kid you not.
    .
And the really potent stuff is C100. I can’t write that number here without going over Youtube’s character limit.

@sanarkhos Yes, homoeopathic remedies work. They just don’t work any better than a similarly administered placebo.

    @dadeskr

30X pills disolved under the tongue.

I’m naturally a skeptic and this stuff works.

It’s interesting you talk about diluted amounts because most homeopathic remedies use massive amounts. For example bees pollen for allergies.

Out of curiosity how do you take it.
No one is disputing the medicinal properties of plants, a lot of our modern medicines are derived, or inspired by compounds found in plants, eg. aspirin is found in willow bark and fox gloves produce digitalis which is used in treatment of heart problems.
Homeopathy is rubbish because it simply couldn’t work. The idea that using really diluted medicine is the same or better than regular medicine is completely illogical.

Funny, but I swear by Arnica. That stuff works! If I get a bruise, it makes a yellow blotch that doesn’t go away for days. If I take Arnica, it clears up almost immediately.

@DapzLive That’s ludacris. Medicine is tested and tried. If homeopathy worked it would be called medicine!
